Registration Form for the course
Programming in C/C++ (Part I)

Academic Year 2017-2018

The C++ course is presented in English

Please contact Frank Brokken or Jurjen Bokma if you have any questions about this course.

The next C/C++ course (part I) starts September 2017.
For details, please consult the course's general information page and part one's schedule.

On Jun 24, 19:02 88 registrations (8 attendee(s)) were processed.
The maximum number of regular participants for this course is 80.

As 80 students have registered as regular participant for the first part of the C/C++ course,
the course is now fully booked.

At this moment new registrations as regular participant can no longer be processed.

But please do register!

If you register now you are registered as attendee: you get full access to the course's facilities and documentation, and if a regular participant doesn't show up or decides to leave the course (amazing, but it does happen) we'll change the status of attendees to `regular participant' in their order or registration.

While you're on attendee status you cannot submit exercises, but all attendees are always and automatically granted access to part II as full participant. So please, don't hesitate to register!

Usually attendees become regular participants after a short delay. There is, however, a way to suspend your attendee status and participate like regular participants: find two regular participants and form a team of three. While you're a member of such a group your attendee status is suspended, and you can fully participate.

During the course we use two books: `De programmeertaal C' and `the C++ Annotations'. Most students prefer to use their own printed copies of these books. New copies of these books are printed every year, just before the couse starts, by the central printing service of the University.
The book `De programmeertaal C' is in Dutch, which might be a problem for non-Dutch speaking participants. Fortunately, almost every basic book about the C programming language can be used instead.
On the other hand there's no such flexibility with respect to the C++ Annotations. The Annotations are in English, and the course is strongly tied to the Annotation's current version. Participants are therefore strongly advised to obtain their own copies.

It is possible to order your copies of the books using this form. There is no obligation to order your books here, although you seriously should consider doing so. Do not assume spare copies remain to be available once the course has started. Throughout the course the books are intensively used, and from the course's very beginning we assume that you have access to your onw copies.

Please indicate below which books you would like to order. This requires an explicit action on your part: by default you don't order the books.

Here are the prices of the books in the Academic Year 2016-2017:

Currently, the exact prices of the books are not yet known. The 2017-2018 prices will be close to the ones shown:

Order a copy of ``De Programmeertaal C'' (EUR 20.--):   NO     YES
Order a copy of the ``C++ Annotations'' (EUR 25.--):   NO     YES
